Set up an additional activity on the ORB

Information on setting up an additional Award Activity on the ORB

1. Log in to your Online Record Book

Log in to your account on https://onlinerecordbook.org with the details you used when you registed for the Award.

2. Click "OVERVIEW"

Go to the section you want to add an additional activity for and click on "Overview"

4. Click "ADD ACTIVITY"

It is strongly reccomended you talk with your Award Leader before adding an additonal activity.

In general we discourage additional activities at Bronze level unless your activity is seasonal. This helps to ensure your Award shows commitment.

Once you have spoken with your Award Leader click "Add Activity"

6. Enter your goal for the section

Try to come up with a SMART goal that shows what you aim to achieve, and how you want to approach your activity.

7. Enter your Assessor's details

Note:
Make sure you enter a valid email address for your assessor. Your activity will not be approved if the email address is incorrect

Enter the name and email address of your Assessor. Remember your Assessor must be:

  • Over 18
  • Not related to you
  • Must have experience in the activity
  • Must mentor or observe you completing the activity regularly
  • Complete an Assessor's report at the end of your activity.

8. Click "SETUP"

9. Wait for your Award Leader to approve your activity

Wait for your Award Leader to approve your activity. This is a manual process so it may take a couple of days to be approved.

You won't be able to add any logs until your activity is approved

10. Go to the "LOGS" tab for your activity

11. Click "+ Add Log"

Remember to include as much detail as possible - make sure to show your progress and development. Include the date you did the activity and how long you did it for,

Hours
Your counter may not always be an accurate count of your logged hours. The counter will adjust as you add more hours - remember you can only count 4 hours per section per month
